Strange Stock Tips The Strange
UPDATE: I wrote this back in 1998. SAP
was actually a pretty good call but the lead substitutes
never caught on.
As we near the year 2000 and go beyond this new
millennia. The need for Year 2000 or Y2K compliant
business and home software will become somewhat of an
emergency. Because of this fact, many many businesses
and home computer users will turn to software companies that
provide this software rather than rewriting the software
they already have.
Investing in
these software companies that sell year 2000 or Y2K
compliant software would seem to be a wise choice. One
software company, SAP, has been making year 2000 or Y2K
compliant software since 1992. This might be a good
bet for your investment dollar.
In the old days before unleaded gas, cars
needed lead to fill in the scars of the engine with lead and
keep it like new. These days the cars are engineered
for gas without lead but they still need something to fill
in the scars or the engine. Non lead additives have
been around for over 10 years and they are being used more
and more. Investing in companies that make these
additives may well be a good, if not "strange" choice.
