This true ghost story was sent
in by Candy.
One night I was at my
granny's old house and was staying there with my sister.
I was about 7 years old. Well, I woke up like someone
was staring at me and looked at my sister and she was sleeping
soundly and I looked up from the bed and there was a man
standing there watching us sleep. I kicked my sister and
she woke and saw him standing there too. Then we heard
this piano that my great great grandma left to my granny start
to play and the man walked to the door and stood guard when
another man walked in. Me and my sister was so scared we
couldn't scream. The two men started to fight and then
disappeared and then we heard this laughing coming from the
hallway and I went out to see and saw my granny and grampa at
the door. I saw this ball bounce by and looked down the
hall and there was a girl standing threre and caught the
ball. She threw it back to a little boy at the other end
of the hall. I was so scared but the girl and boy along
with the ball were gone.
There has been a lot more haunting stories that happen in that
house. As I come to find out that house was built
over the oldest hanging tree in denton Texas. Also there
was a bad train accident threre when the old railroad tracks
were there before they were moved. Another scary one I
can remember is: before my granny moved out she was
taking a shower (I was there cause she was taking care of me
during the day.) Well when she got out and changed
so we could go out, there was a lamp that flew in from her
room and was thrown toward her and crashed. She jumped
out the way when I heard the crash. I ran in and saw her
looking at the smashed lamp. When we went to leave
the bathroom to get out of the house the bathroom door had
shut and locked us both in the bathroom. We
started screaming and kicking the door afraid that somtheing
might try and kill us both. But the door opened
and my granny got her purse and keys and we didn't come back
to that house till we were moving out.
