The Oklahoma Goatman The Strange There seems to be another version of the Goatman
in Oklahoma. A very different version of the Goatman
indeed.
It seems this Goatman was
conjured up by a magic spell. A lesson to all:
When you dance with the devil, he calls the tune.
I live in Sallisaw Oklahoma and go by the alias Interloper. On
four occasions me and a friend have seen a goat like creature
with
incredible speed and an amazing jumping ability. The creature
is
bipedal and has only been seen three times. My friend seen it
walking
along side him, it was a tan color and its face wasn't visible
on any
occasions we've seen it, about a year back i seen it as a blur
running in
front of me with incredible speed I glanced its tan body but
it looked
as it it had no facial features. Earlier today (9-22-99) at
about 6:00 it was dark
out and me and my buddy were going to see if we could spot it
again, we
continued down a dirt road that lead to a power distribution
station and
he noticed a manlike figure moving on a distant hill. the
figure was
shrouded in darkness and moved as if it were gesturing to us.
We moved a
bit closer then back to see if it was still there and it was
gone. as we
walked up to the gate in front of the woods (about a mile from
the place
he was on the hill) about 4 seconds after we had spotted him a
large
crashing sound came, as if something landing from a jump then
a thing
moving through the trees at incredible speed. It stopped and
we left and
didn't hear it again tonight, but we plan on going back friday
(9-24-99) which is
homecoming night to track this creature. Everything stated
here is
true, certain things about how we believe the thing got to
these woods
are left out we believe that it is damned to the woods because
the first
spotting was after I called a similar creature through a
religious
ceremony. REMEMBER THIS IS NOT A HOAX
Sometime later he sent this in
as an update:
Me and two friends went into the forest about 10:00 pm, this
friday, homecoming night for our small town of Sallisaw
Oklahoma, and
seen nothing. We believe that it might have been to noisy
because of the
band and crowded football field not to far from the woods.
We stayed in the woods for about 2 hours or
so, searching all trails
and every corner (armed only with a small knife and two
flashlights) and
only found such wild creatures as armadillos, frogs, and many
many
spiders. Although we do plan on going back we do not know when
but I
promise it will be soon, hopefully on a less noisy night.
Next time we go will be in at least a few
days or so, maybe a while
till we camp there though. But we will do our best to keep you
posted
and hunt this "thing" down. Thank you, and anyone who has

I live in southwest Ok at the edge of a small town. A
creek runs by the
property and overgrown fields lie between us and the
town. One night 2
tears ago, my 13 year-old grandson and his friend were coming
down the
long road from town. They heard a noise behind them and
turned in time
to see a figure with long hair covering it's body and running
upright on
cloved feet. They ran home scared to death, and wouldn't
go outside at
night alone for several months.
I told my daughter what the boys had seen, and a few days
later a friend
of hers (who lives about a mile from us along this same creek)
told her she had seen a similar creature close to her
home late one
evening about dusky dark. She also said her brother had
seen it several
times in this field by our home. Both of these people are in
their
thirties.. The creature runs on hind legs, and tends to
run and hide if
seen.
